The Wrap-Up: May Edition
Please leave a link to your blog (if you have one) in your comment or make sure your Disqus profile has your address so that I can visit you back!
I try to link all book covers to Goodreads or to my review (if there is one) which is in turn linked to Goodreads.
Happy June everyone! Who can believe we're in the 6th month of the year already? It's FLYING past.
May was (again) a crazy month for me but I managed to be home for at least half of it so that was nice! In that time I've managed to do quite a bit of Bookstagram stuff (which I've been loving!!!) but it has meant that I've neglected the blog more than I should but I've been slowly plugging away at catching up here and there so hopefully little by little I'll catch up and then be able to push on with both.
Does anyone else love Bookstagram? I know I've seen some of you there but I'm always looking for more crossovers between bloggers and bookstagrammers. I'm running a giveaway over there at the moment until Friday the 8th so if you do have an Instagram account you should go and check it out (it's international!).
What I read:
It's been a bit of a slow reading month for me and I'm still trailing on my Goodreads goal for the year. There's still a large amount of months in which I can catch up so I'm hopeful!
What I am currently reading:
I'm currently reading Heart of Thorns which is an ARC from Harper. I'm also rereading the Steel and Stone series alongside with the companion collection which offers different POVS which spans the length of the entire series. I'm loving reading the series in this way, especially since there are no spoilers for me and I've got my eyes open in particular for certain things that were revealed in the prequel series, Spell Weaver.Up Next:
I really, really want to get to The Cruel Prince this month. I've kept pushing it back because my ARC schedule has been a bit crazy and I haven't been reading as much as I would have liked!
I also have Sea Witch coming up which is seriously exciting - it's the rise of the Hans Christian Andersen villainess and I CANNOT WAIT.
Ruin of Stars is the sequel to Mask of Shadows and draws a close to the duology. I have been waiting impatiently for a long time to to sink back into this world with it's gender fluid MC.
New Arrivals:
I received and read (and even manage to review!) Just One of the Royals in May. I also received an ARC of Shadow of the Fox, a brand new series by Julie Kagawa based on Japanese mythology and I'm super excited about this one.
Reading Progress:
How was your month? Did you hit your reading goals? Did anything noteworthy happen?
